I’ve seen three cathedrals, been in four counties and spent about 10 hours travelling in two days.

I like East Anglia, it feels strangely homely. My mothers side of the family is from around Cambridge and Norfolk and you can hear the accent still in their voices, it’s even more obvious in the family we have down there. I love the Fens and the Wash and all that lark.

Anyway, here is a picture of Bartholomew de Burghersh.

He has resided in Lincoln Cathedral since 1369, I didn’t expect to stumble upon him as I looked around. I find this sort of thing fascinating. I’d imagine you probably don’t.

I’m becoming more interested in Cathedrals, I might look for some books on them. I think the biggest appeal to me is that they’re still there, and I can go look around.
